Thanks to the generosity of our community, we are happy to announce that we have collected 170 coats for our Coolidge Student Council Coat Drive!
Coolidge School first and second-grade students performed their mini-musical this week titled, How Does Your Garden Groove? We have some talented singers and dancers who were rocking and grooving as farmers and garden vegetables! Great work by our students and a huge thank you to their teachers and Mr. Cosman for preparing them for the shows.
The first trimester ended on December 6th. Report cards will be available for grades 1-5 via the Genesis Parent Portal after 3:30 PM on December 13th.
Students in grades 1-5 will be administered the second i-Ready diagnostic assessment this upcoming week. This assessment helps us monitor student growth and identify areas of focus for whole group, small group, and individual instruction moving forward. Students should be proud of their hard work so far this year and should use these assessments as a way to show everything they have learned.
Our Student Council is hosting a Wacky Winter Spirit Week from 12/16-12/20. Here is a flyer with more information about each day.
Winter weather is upon us. As a reminder for parents and students, we hope to go outdoors for recess on most days throughout the winter, even in cold weather. Please keep this in mind when choosing outerwear for your children. We believe that fresh air and exercise are important for our students and help them maintain a stronger academic focus in the afternoon.
