Dear Lincoln School Community,
Blue and Red were the colors of the day today as our students squared off in a variety of activities in a fun and engaging Feld Day! Sportsmanship and hard work were on full display, and our students had a blast with everything from capture the flag to a sponge relay to a DJ dancing station. Thank you to Mr. White and Mr. Carroll for planning such a terrific day, our staff and parent volunteers for their support, and our PTO for providing Kona Ice in the afternoon.
Thank you to all who attended the Lincoln School Art Show last evening! It was a wonderful display of our students’ creativity and artistic talent. Thank you to Mr. Castellano for leading our students this year and planning and organizing the Art Show.
Congratulations to our 4th and 5th grade band on a terrific spring instrumental concert on Tuesday. Conducted by Mr. Weidman and Mr. Vetrero, our young musicians played a variety of musical selections, and did a wonderful job in both the daytime and evening concert. Thank you to our students for sharing their talents with the Lincoln School community!
Thank you to our PTO for a wonderful end-of-year meeting and celebration this past Thursday. I am grateful for such an amazing and supportive Parent Teacher Organization. The support and collaboration of our families is vital to the success of our students, and I look forward to continuing our partnership in the upcoming school year. Thank you especially to our Executive Board, including PTO President Mrs. Korinis, for their steady leadership throughout the year. Finally, congratulations to our Abe Award recipients, Mrs. Barrett and Mrs. Gay. We will miss you and your families, and thank you for your support over the years at Lincoln School!
Next Friday, Lincoln School will hold its annual Theme Day! This is a full day of assemblies, activities, and interactive presentations, all centered around this year's theme, "’Seas’ the Day.” We can’t wait for this special and memorable day!
