Lincoln Logo

Dear Lincoln School Community,

Today was one to remember as we “Seas’ed” the Day and experienced a fun and engaging Theme Day! From ocean touch tanks to coral reef explorations to create-a-boat labs to an ocean trivia game show and more, our students learned, explored, and worked together as a team through a number of engaging activities and presentations. Our hallways were adorned with amazing ocean-themed decorations that helped to set the stage for a fun and educational day. Thank you to our Theme Day Chairs; Mrs. Bolton, Mrs. Cunha, Mrs. Gibbison-Briggs, Mrs. Joudeh, Mrs. Siderias and Mrs. Turland; our Decorations Chairs Mrs. Miano and Mrs. Powers; and our Lunch Chairs Ms. Caldwell, Mrs. Korinis and Mrs. Swanson. Thank you also to our many parent volunteers and our school staff for leading our students today. It was a great day to be a Lincoln Lion!

Today during Theme Day, we also announced our school theme for 2026-2027: “Discover Your Path!” Our PTO is sponsoring a Directory Cover Contest for current 4th grade students. Please click here for more information, and note the quick deadline for submission of June 19th so that the Directory Cover Contest winner may be announced on the last day of school.

Our Kindergarten celebrations will be held this upcoming week, on the mornings of June 18th and 19th, on the Kindergarten blacktop. We can't wait to celebrate our youngest Lincoln Lions as they prepare to become 1st graders! Please see the times in the "Important Dates" section below.

It is hard to believe that we are almost at the conclusion of the 2025-2026 school year! We look forward to continuing the recognition of our 5th grade with a Memory Book Breakfast on Monday, June 22nd at 9:00 am. On Tuesday, June 23rd, at 9:15 am we will have the Fifth Grade Farewell. This event will be held outside (weather permitting), and we will recognize all of our departing Lincoln Lions with a certificate of appreciation. In addition, several 5th grade awards will be distributed. In the event of rain, it will be relocated to the gymnasium. We look forward to wishing our 5th graders well as they head off to middle school! In addition, the 5th grade “Clap Out” will be held at approximately 12:50 on Tuesday, as we bid farewell to our 5th graders.

If your child is missing any clothing items, please be sure to check our lost and found. All of the lost and found items that are left in the MPR after June 30th will be donated.

As a reminder, Friday, June 19th, Monday, June 22nd, Tuesday, June 23rd  are all minimum days for all students, with a 1:05 pm dismissal. Kindergarten students will still have lunchtime in their classrooms; however, grades 1-5 will not have lunch on these days.
