Dear Sicomac Families,
We are back together for a four-day week following some truly wonderful events at Sicomac last week. Our second annual International Night was a tremendous success, featuring more than 20 tables representing the cultures and heritage of our school community. Families shared food and traditions which created an evening filled with kindness and celebration.
On Friday, we celebrated Theme Day! This year's theme, Full Steam Ahead, brought learning to life through a wide range of STEAM activities, experiments, and hands-on experiences for students. The day was engaging and energetic to say the least. A heartfelt thank you goes to our many parent volunteers whose time and dedication helped make the day run so smoothly. Sicomac continues to shine because of the partnership and support of our families.
Science Fair Reminder
Please join us for the Sicomac Science Fair on April 9th from 6:30-7:30pm. The final day to sign up for the fair is Tuesday, 3/31/26. Additional information is available on the PTO GroupSpot app.
Fairview Lake Payment & Permission Slip - Deadline Extended
Families of fifth-grade students are reminded that all forms and payments for the Fairview Lakes YMCA trip for incoming sixth graders are due by April 15th. Materials may be submitted to the main office.
Wyckoff Summer Academies
Wyckoff Summer Academies is open to students entering Kindergarten through Grade 7 and offers a variety of academic and enrichment courses, including STEAM classes through National Hall of Inventors® Camp Invention, taught by certified Wyckoff teachers.
Dates: Four one-week sessions (8:30 AM – 12:45 PM)
July 6–10 | July 13–17 | July 20–24 | July 27–31

Parent Presentation - Message from the Coordinating Council
The next NJ4S Parent Presentation will take place on 4/14/26 at 6:30pm and will feature Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age. This session explores the challenges families face while raising children in today's digital world and offers practical insights for parents.

Dress Code Reminder
As the weather begins to warm up, we kindly ask families to help students come to school dressed in clothing that is appropriate for a learning environment. School attire should be comfortable, safe for movement and play, and suitable for an elementary school setting. Thank you for your partnership in helping us maintain a positive and respectful school environment for all students.
