Theme Day fun all day long! How lucky are we to have such wonderful things planned for our school by our PTO❤️

Theme Day 2026 is underway!! Full STEAM ahead!

Being outside is good for us!

Brain Break! Go outside!

Book Clubs are for everyone, even a principal and 5th-grade students!

Using just a battery and wires, students brought science to life by lighting a bulb, starting a motor, and set off a buzzer. Future scientists in action!

Pre-K artists are loving metallic and fluorescent colors for their Antoni Gaudi inspired structures.

Fourth graders had a blast building catapults and launching marshmallows outside! We explored how moving objects have energy by testing whose catapult could create the most motion!

4th grade had such an amazing time on our field trip to the Liberty Science Center! We learned so much about science through hands-on exhibits and the planetarium show!

🌍✨ International Night at Sicomac ✨🌍
What an incredible evening celebrating cultures from around the world! Our Sicomac families did an amazing job sharing their traditions, food, and experiences—it was truly special to see our community come together in such a meaningful way.
A huge thank you to our PTO and all of our parent volunteers for making this night possible. We are so grateful for the time, effort, and heart you put into creating such a memorable event for our students and families! @sicomacwps @sicomacpto

Thank you, Mrs. Silva, for teaching us about the artist Chuck Close today!

This 5th Grade Sicomac Crew is getting ready for all their special events!
Book clubs, math games, and fun! March is always full of collaboration, learning, and joy in third grade!

Closing out Neurodiversity week in 3A!

Mrs. Mazie's class read Green 💚 by Laura Vaccaro Seeger in Art Enrichment today. Using a limited pallette of greens, students enjoyed the process of painting anything they wanted.

Celebrating Neurodiversity at Sicomac!
Today, our school community came together for a special Neurodiversity Assembly—a powerful reminder that every brain is unique and valuable.
Through stories, discussions, and shared experiences, students learned the importance of understanding, acceptance, and kindness. We celebrated the many ways we think, learn, and see the world—and how those differences make our school stronger.#NeurodiversityWeek #SicomacStrong #CelebrateDifferences #BeKind @sicomacwps @sicomacpto

3S students at Sicomac loved visiting the library to read with their KG buddies!
Learning together and supporting one another makes our school stronger. #SicomacReads #BuddyReading @sicomacwps @sicomacpto

KG at Sicomac learns how brains work differently. Thank you Mrs. Violanti for helping us discover each brain in unique.

We love seeing students learn in ways that work best for them while celebrating what makes each of us unique. @sicomacwps @sicomacpto

💙 Be Kind. Be Inclusive. Be You. 💙
Sicomac School continues celebrating Neurodiversity Week—a time to recognize and appreciate all the different ways our brains work and learn!
Students have been engaging in meaningful conversations through read-alouds and hands-on experiences. From listening to stories that highlight diverse learners to exploring sensory tools and manipulatives, our students are building empathy and understanding for one another. @sicomacwps @sicomacpto
